Ambassador training increases community awareness
Feb. 19, 2003

"Catching A Vision"
A seminar to engage teachers and staff as ambassadors for Springfield Public Schools

All district employees are welcome to participate in a two-hour training session conducted by Teacher of the Year Pamela Hankins. This workshop will encourage teachers and staff to become effective ambassadors for Springfield Public Schools and public education.

Employees may choose to attend the training on Tuesday, Feb. 25, or Wednesday, March 5, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kraft Administrative Center. Dinner will be served.

Ambassadors are effective communicators who are willing to share the good news about Springfield Public Schools. These individuals will be called upon in the future to work as liaisons with the community to communicate the accomplishments and needs of the district.

If you would like to be part of this dynamic effort to increase the community awareness of the successes taking place in Springfield Public Schools, register for one of these workshops.

For more information or to register, contact Vera Cage by calling 864-3918 or via e-mail at vcage@spsmail.org.
