Riggs named zone two associate superintendent
Sept. 1, 2002

Dr. Ernst announced at Tuesday's board meeting that Dr. Peggy Riggs will be overseeing SPS zone 2 as the new associate superintendent. Dr. Emmett Sawyer vacated the position in June to take a position at the Greenwood Laboratory School. Dr. Riggs is currently the director of research and assessment, and has worked in the Springfield district for 14 years. Click here to view more details about Dr. Riggs.
