Lund recognized as Teacher of the Year
April 27, 2004
Carrol Lund is Springfield Public Schools’ Teacher of the Year for 2004-2005.
Lund received the honor at the 11th Annual Teacher Appreciation Banquet on April 26, presented by the Springfield Public Schools Foundation.
Lund teaches Japanese and French at Kickapoo High School.
Other finalists for the award were: Cary Sikes, first grade teacher, Sherwood Elementary School; Nancy Wedgeworth, speech and debate teacher, Parkview High School; Leanna Jackson, special education teacher at Central High School; Marla Standage, who teaches the Wonder Years pre-school program at Robberson Elementary School.
