Funeral held for Fremont student
Jan. 26, 2004
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 27, for Madeline Webb, 11, who died Jan. 24 after being accidentally shot at a relative’s home north of Rogersville.
Madeline was a 5th grader at Fremont Elementary School. Students remembered her there Monday with tears, flowers and notes written to her family. Madeline is survived by her parents, Buddy and Melanie, and a brother, Quinnten, who is in 2nd grade at Fremont.
Students were allowed to leave school with an adult to attend the funeral. The service was at Hope Community Church, 2121 S. Blackman Road.
