District recognized for fiscal budget

The Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) International announced recently that Springfield Public Schools has received their Meritorious Budget Award for its 2004-2005 fiscal budget.
The award reflects the commitment of district officials to achieve the highest standard of school budgeting. No other organization or award program is specifically designed to enhance school budgeting and honor a school system for a job well done.
