Evans named middle school counselor of the year
May 6, 2005

Cherokee Middle School counselor, Dr. LaRaine Evans was named Middle School Counselor of the Year by the Southwest Missouri School Counselor Association.

Evans received the award last month at the Southwest Missouri School Counselor Administrator Appreciation luncheon.

She was selected from among a number of southwest Missouri counselors and will now compete in the state Middle School Counselor of the Year competition. That winner will be announced in November.
