New board members sworn into office
April 14, 2006
Springfield Public Schools’ three recently elected board members were sworn into office during a brief board meeting Thursday, April 13, at Kraft Administrative Center.
Incumbents Kris Callen and Bruce Renner and newly elected board member, Andy Hosmer, took the oath of office. All will serve three year terms.
Board president Dr. Michael Hoeman was again elected to serve as president; Kris Callen was again chosen as vice president. District Financial Services Director, Cherie Alderson, was elected treasurer and administrative assistant, Carol Roper, was elected board secretary.
Outgoing board member Jerry Harmison thanked the board, staff and community for making his six years of service so rewarding.
