Two district students win new cars
May 26, 2006

Two Springfield public high school students won new cars this week in separate drawings for students who had good school attendance or participated in a recent Project Graduation.

On Wednesday, Parkview senior Matthew Suarez won a new Kia Rio after staying the entire night at his school’s Project Graduation, an alternative post-graduation party held in a safe and drug free environment.

On Thursday, Glendale senior Adam Dittman’s name was drawn for a new Kia Rio. Dittman was among students eligible for the drawing who had 95 percent attendance or better this year.

Both names were drawn by Springfield Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Norm Ridder. Both cars were given away by Youngblood Kia 3505 S. Campbell Ave.
