Before and After-school Programs

Boys & Girls Club

Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield offers an after-school program as well as a summer program for children ages 6-17. During the school year, they pick up from approximately 28 Springfield Public Schools sites and provide transportation to three Springfield locations. During the school year, hours are Monday through Friday from 2:45 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Boys & Girls Club also has a summer program at all three locations as well as at the Campbell/McGregor Outreach held at McGregor Elementary School. Summer hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Locations are as follows:

Prime Time

Childcare for elementary school students before and after school is provided through Prime Time, a joint effort between SPS and the Ozarks Regional YMCA. There is a fee for the program.

SPARC

Schools, Parks Are Reaching Communities (SPARC) is a partnership between SPS and the Springfield-Greene County Park Board.  SPARC offers after-school recreation programs for youth in elementary and middle school. SPARC is offered at 12 district schools.
