Standardized Math Tests are administered upon entrance to all students to determine individual grade level placement of each student., and again each quarter to continue monitoring progress and guide instruction for each student Students begin working with basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts using a variety of curriculum materials and teaching strategies. Lessons are differentiated to meet the diverse academic needs of each student. In addition to practice problems, students engage in math games and concrete activities to reinforce and advance their skill level. One-on-one instruction and small cooperative groups are used to build confidence and improve social skills.
