Social Studies

This course will help students to understand how history is gathered and organized, and how it affects them today. Sixth and Seventh Grade students will explore World History from ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia to the rise of European Monarchy and from the early societies of Latin America to those of present-day North and South America. Eighth Grade is used to focus on United States’ History from pre-colonial days to those of the Civil War and Reconstruction.
