Boundary and Facility Usage Review
![]() |
Feeder Pattern Adjustments and Building Utilization:
Following are current Parkview High School feeder schools and alternates that would reduce the number of split feeder schools (K-12) to Parkview High School, as well as improve building utilization throughout that feeder system.
Note: The capacity data is based on September 2007 enrollment and the number of students living within specific school attendance areas as of July 7, 2008. Each “Alternate” is a group of possible changes to improve feeder patterns and/or the efficiency of building usage.

Alternate F: Changes to Cowden feeder pattern and other changes north of Mark Twain Elementary
- BOUNDARY CHANGE: Sherwood Elementary School’s boundary will expand east from Scenic to the railroad track. This does not affect any students at this time.
- FEEDER CHANGE: Jeffries Elementary School (current boundary) would send all students to Parkview High School shifting 189 students 9-12 from Kickapoo High School (on average 47 incoming freshmen to PHS).
- FEEDER CHANGE: Rountree Elementary School would send all students to Parkview High School shifting 29 students 9-12 from Central High School (on average 7 incoming freshmen to PHS).
- FEEDER/BOUNDARY CHANGE: The western portion of Portland Elementary School will be incorporated into Westport Elementary School shifting 59 students 9-12 from Parkview High School to Central High School (on average 15 incoming freshmen to CHS). This also shifts 62 students K-5 to Westport Elementary School from Portland Elementary School (on average 10 incoming kindergarten students to Westport).
- FEEDER CHANGE: All of Campbell Elementary School will send students to Central High School shifting 62 students from Parkview High School (on average 16 incoming freshmen to CHS).
- FEEDER CHANGE: McGregor Elementary School will send students to Jarrett Middle School shifting 111 students 6-8 from Study Middle School (on average 37 incoming 6th grade students to Jarrett Middle School). This will have no affect on high schools as McGregor already sends students to Parkview High School.
- FEEDER CHANGE: Cowden Elementary School will send all students to Glendale High School shifting 88 students 9-12 from Parkview High School (on average 22 incoming freshmen to GHS).
Alternate F: Changes to Cowden feeder pattern and other changes north of Mark Twain Elementary.
