New Semester Begins

This is a good time to review with your student the expectations for them to be successful in school for the second semester. Remember that MAP testing is just around the corner and students need to have high expectations. The expectation should be that every student is “advanced or proficient” on the test and that they are willing to prepare themselves for this goal.
Central High School will be hosting a “Super Saturday” on March 29th. “Super Saturday” is an ACT Prep session for students wanting to prepare for the ACT test. Cost of the prep session is $5.00. I would like to encourage junior and senior students to sign up for the next ACT test. The test date is April 12th and the deadline to sign up is March 7th.
