Office Supplies

The Purchasing Department has negotiated a contract for Office Supplies not stocked at the Supply Center with G&M Office Products. Items with high usage are made available thru the Supply Center. All of the District office supplies that are not stocked in Supply should be purchased through G&M Office Products at the discounted rate as negotiated in the bid. The total dollars spent with G&M thru this contract will result in greater discounts in future years.  Each site has been set up with an user ID and password on G&M’s website (www.gmofficeproducts.com) where they can place orders on line and have them delivered to your site within two days (as long as the items are available).  Delivery is free with an order over 25.00.  The website is loaded with the District’s price in red, and regular price in black.  If you need your user ID and password, please contact Michelle Bentley at 523-0071 or ext 36221. 


NOTE:  PLEASE ALWAYS CHECK THE SUPPLY CENTER FIRST TO SEE IF THE OFFICE SUPPLY IS STOCKED IN INVENTORY FIRST BEFORE ORDERING FROM G&M.

Frequently ask Questions:

Q:  IF I find an item cheaper somewhere other than G&M can I purchase it there?
 A:  No, if G&M has the item available, it will need to be purchased at G&M.  If what you find is more expensive on their website, call G&M because they may know of a similar item at a less expensive price, or you can contact Michelle Bentley and she will see if the District can get a better discount.
Explanation:  There are going to be items that are cheaper somewhere else all the time, however those stores run those items cheaper in order to get the customer in there so that while they are shopping they will pick up other items they need, that do end up costing more there, which result in no money being saved. 

Q:  How can I get set up to use the G&M website?

A:  Contact your secretary for your user ID and password, or Michelle Bentley in the Purchasing Department. 

Q:  What if do not find what I am looking for on the G&M website?

A:  Call the store to insure they do not offer what you are looking for.    If G&M does not have what you are looking for, you can purchase it from another vendor.
