Hi! My name is Amanda Burleson and I currently teach kindergarten at McBride Elementary.  I graduated from Missouri State University in 2006 with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and again in 2008 with a masters degree in Educational Administration.  I also have two years teaching experience in first grade at Weller Elementary. 

I absolutely love teaching and love being around children!! I truly believe every child can learn and believe children should be put first.  I feel it is very important for students to develop a love for learning at a very early age.  I want my students to love school and get excited about learning!

I am so excited to be part of our new school!  This is going to be such a fun and exciting time!
