My name is Dawn Carriker and I will be the new secretary at David Harrison Elementary.  I started working at Wanda Gray Elementary in 1995 when my oldest son started kindergarten there.  I was a PTA volunteer at that time and helped in the classrooms of my boys.  I worked in the cafeteria for 3 years keeping the children moving through the  lunch line, cleaning the tables, and keeping the classes on schedule.  I then moved up to part time secretary.  I loved my time at Wanda Gray due to the smiling faces and great personalities of the children.  I love this age of children and it makes everyday a joy to come to work.  My boys are now a freshman at MSU and a junior at Kickapoo H.S.  I have been married for 23 years and my husband and I enjoy being at the lake on the weekends.
