Hello!  My name is Julee Curry.  I graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education.  I spent one year teaching kindergarten in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa before moving to Springfield.  My first six years in Springfield were spent teaching kindergarten (one year at Wilder Elementary and five years at Eugene Field Elementary).  In 2002, I earned a Masters degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Early Childhood from Missouri State University.  In 2005, Field Elementary implemented a pre-kindergarten program in which I am currently the program coordinator and teacher.

I am so excited to be a part of the new southwest elementary school.  I look forward to bringing inquiry-based learning experiences, excitement, fun, and laughter to the preschool day.
