What happens to my sick days when I leave the district?
Any employee, who has accumulated more than one hundred (100) days of sick leave, upon retirement or voluntary resignation, shall be paid fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each day in excess of one hundred (100).
When will I be paid for my SIP days?
SIP days completed in June will be paid in July and SIP days completed in July or August will be paid in September.
I have reached my 550 hours as a retiree. What do I do now?
Payroll sends a monthly letter to each retiree with the number of hours paid for those who are getting close to their 550 hours.
Employee needs to notify the retirement office and payroll office in writing once they have exceeded their 550 hours.
For each hour worked in excess of 550, retirement will begin being deducted from the retirees payroll check and the employee will lose their retirement check from the public school retirement office. Questions regarding retirement benefits 1800-392-6848.
