Springfield Public Schools is now accepting resumes for principal and assistant principal openings for the 2009-2010 school year.
Since the filling of some principal/assistant principal openings will be dependent upon the simultaneous filling of other positions, it will not be possible to list each vacancy as it occurs. Therefore, this is your only opportunity to apply for 2009-10 openings that might occur.
YOUR REQUEST MUST BE RECEIVED IN HUMAN RESOURCES PRIOR TO JANUARY 30, 2009. Resumes must be sent to dhawkins@spsmail.org. Please highlight the following information in your letter or email of interest.
- Completion date for specialist or masters degree related to educational administration
- Date or expected date of passing ISLLC Standards for School Leaders examination
- Indicate your preference to be considered for a principalship or an assistant principalship
