Nominations for 2010-2011

Early February of each year is the typical deadline to submit nominations for Springfield Public Schools Teacher of the Year. The nomination form is easy to complete and can be submitted by a student, parent, co-worker or supervisor. Teachers can even nominate themselves.

Pesons wishing to nominate a teacher complete a form explaining in 100 words or less why they are nominating the individual. Nominations are kept confidential.

The Teacher of the Year announcement is held at the annual district Teacher Appreciation Banquet in April of each year. The winner may be considered for Missouri Teacher of the Year.

Nomination forms and program timeline for 2010-2011 Teacher of the Year will be posted here when available.
