From school cancellations to important school board decisions and district highlights, plenty of things are happening every day in Springfield Public Schools. Keep up with all of the news via SPS’ regular e-mail update.
We distribute our updates every six weeks or as necessary to ensure you receive timely news such as school cancellations.
Users can decide what information they would like to receive. The list of options ranges from strictly news about school cancellations to a full version featuring district news and highlights that impact our community. A description of each version is listed below.
- School board meeting news – Keep up to date with district policies and decisions from the board of education.
- Messages from the Superintendent – Updates on district initiatives and other vital news from Dr. Norm Ridder.
- School cancellations – Up-to-the minute news about school closings, event cancellations and reminders about upcoming days when students are out of school or dismissed early.
- News releases – A weekly roundup of things happening throughout the district.
- Full edition – All of the information available in the categories listed above, along with news and highlights from across the district.
