- Delaware houses a unique composite of general education classrooms and special education classrooms. The Delaware community extends beyond the structured attendance boundaries as a large portion of the population is bused to our site from all over the city.
- Title I federal funding provides additional resources for our teachers and students and provides intervention and support programs for students who struggle academically.
- Delaware students consistently demonstrate higher than state averages on Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) scores. We have been recognized by the district as an Accomplished School and by the state as a Top 10 MAP school.
- Delaware students and staff are actively engaged in character education. Activities include monthly assemblies, student recognition and ongoing education in this area.
