- Glendale has been an A+ designated school since 2000. In addition to being a tool for school improvement, the program has provided the opportunity for over 1041 A+ seniors to qualify for tuition and fee reimbursement at any public community college in Missouri. Glendale enjoys A+ business partnerships with Bancorp South, Bass Pro, and JPMorgan/Chase.
- Glendale students consistently demonstrate high district and state averages and scores in attendance, graduation, post-secondary education enrollment and on Missouri Assessment Program and ACT tests. Glendale is the only district high school to meet Adequate Yearly Progress standards for the 2007-2008 school year.
- Glendale students and staff are leaders in peer mediation and character education. GHS Peer Mediators are role models and provide training for student leaders from other Missouri schools. Character education activities have included the formation of a site-based Character Council, specialized character training, and character essay contests. The journalism department continuously receives national awards for its outstanding Falcon yearbook publication.
- A wide variety of student clubs, organizations, athletics, and activities are available at Glendale. Our students consistently achieve honors, awards and recognition at district, state and national levels.
