School Profile:
- Wanda Gray Elementary is named after long-time southwest Missouri educator, Dr. Wanda Gray. Her name is synonymous with education. She believed in the importance of a good education and understood and believed in her students.
- Wanda Gray Elementary was named a Gold Star School in 2003.
- Wanda Gray Elementary has been named to Missouri Top 10 lists of highest performing schools for test scores on the Missouri Achievement Program (MAP) test.
- We have a highly involved parent community which values education. Our PTA is a vivacious group that stays connected with the school and does all it can to support students and teachers.
- Thanks to community support of a $96.5-million bond initiative, Wanda Gray Elementary has a new gymnasium, a kindergarten wing, an expanded library, a renovated computer lab and air conditioning.
