School Profile:
- We are a neighborhood school where families have attended for multiple generations. With an enrollment of 290 students, our school makes students feel safe, secure and supported.
- We have a very caring staff that is extremely student-centered, service-minded and team-oriented. We care for students and each other like family.
- We are a Positive Behavior Supports Bronze Level school. We take pride in our school by exhibiting our STYLE behaviors each and everyday-- Show Respect, Take Responsibility, You can do it, Lead Positively and Exhibit Safety.
- We are a highly trained staff with high expectations for ourselves and our students. We understand that staff growth is essential for student growth.
- We share a vision that Ed V. Williams Elementary will be a place where families, staff and the community focus on high academic achievement and positive behaviors.
- We are a Title I and literacy lab school. These programs provide additional resources and support to ensure student success.
- We are partners with numerous community agencies that provide additional resources for our students and their families. These include Caring Communities, Springfield-Greene County Park Board, reading buddies, foster grandparents, faith partners, and several community businesses and service organizations.
