BE HEALTHY: wash hands often, sleep 8 to 10 hours each night, drink water instead of  pop, eat 4 servings of fruits and vegetables each day, do not miss breakfast, cover coughs and sneezes, take ALL MEDICATION as directed by your medical provider, move around a lot.         MCj02396530000[1]                      Marlene ATTENDANCE!!!!   It is important that your child be at school everyday.

WHEN NOT TO SEND CHILDREN TO SCHOOL: 

Fever of 100  degrees or more; vomiting; diarrhea; strep throat or pink eye until they have been treated with antibiotics for 24 hours; rash all over body of unknown cause;  persistent cough; head lice ( your child may return to school after hair has been treated and all nits removed);  Students may return to school after they have been free of fever (with out the use of medication to reduce fever)  free of vomiting or diarrhea for 24 hours.

REGULAR ATTENDANCE sets the routine for their entire school career  and tells your child you think education is important.
Location. Location. Location. You have often heard this said about businesses, but it is just as important with parents that you can be located in the event your child becomes ill or hurt. A pediatric nurse practitioner is able to do well child check ups and see sick children and prescribe medication if needed. Forms to use this service are available in the nurse's office.
