Ms. Sundberg's Third and Fourth Grade Classes
Hello! Welcome to the 3rd and 4th Grade Cool Cat Team! My name is Ms. Tanya Sundberg and this is my fourth year of teaching. I grew up in St. Louis and went to Evangel University here in Springfield. Before this year, I taught 4th grade for 2 years and was a math specialist for 1 year. I am so glad to be back in Springfield where I feel at home. It's a blessing to be at Weller with such a supportive community!
This particular class is made up of two different grade levels, all of them bringing a different SPARK to the classroom. We work as a team and most importantly, as a classroom family. All year, the students have come together to create the learning atmosphere and goals they will achieve. Together, we created our classroom mission statement which we recite every morning. The exciting part is, they will remind me or recite it on their own, without my prompting!
